若是指代植物,我颇觉纳闷儿,因为they,one another这两个是不相等的啊!怎么回事啊?

我的翻译中世纪的学者几乎未做任何尝试去研究植物的解剖结构,生长机制,或者植物间以何种方式相关联.they指植物,one another指另一种植物.
