It seemed to take forever to get to the camp.My parents were driving me there,and I was really nervous.
When we got there,a teacher in a funny yellow T-shirt took me to my cabin.I was in the coolest one,with all the other 14and 15-year-olds.
I tried not to cry when I said goodbye to my parents.I didn’t want people to know that I was feeling frightened.
I thought the teachers were really old,but it turns out most of them were only.18or 19 years old.They were really nice,and they helped us to get to know each other.
In my cabin there was a boy called Stuart.He was sitting on the top bunk when I first walked in.
He has his feet over the end of the bed and asked me whether I wanted to smell them!I sand not but laughed when he asked me.
Stuart become one of my best friends at the camp,but I never smelled his feet.
