1,有没有这个用法?be grateful to sb for doing sth.2,settle down in＋地方 or settle in＋地方?3,of,for,from,about这些词后面是不是加doing sth?除了这些词,4,come to power or come into power?5,lead to＋名词?6,concern是及物动词时有什么用法?7,You are saying that everyone should be equal,and this is where I disagree.where为什么不能换成why?8,Having suffered such a heavy loss,he didn't have the courage to go on.这里句首为什么不能直接用Suffered?

1、有这个用法,表示“因.
2、settle in
3、你所举的例子都是介词,所有的介词后面如果直接接动词的话,动词要变成ing形式
4、两个都可以
5、lead to除了可以加名词还可以接动名词
6、后面直接接宾语
7、可以是where也可以是why ,只是表达的意思不一样,where的话是说：这是我不赞同的地方,why的话就是：这是我不赞同你的原因
8、现在分词用完成式表示分词动作发生在句子谓语动作之前,是在经历了失败后才没有勇气继续下去
