The basic design utilizes Axens’ Prime G+ process,which is a catalytic process for hydrodesulfurization of gasoline that includes the following sections:
Selective Hydrogenation unit (SHU)
Selective HDS Section
The most important part of this package is the selection of Catalysts and Chemicals,which are patented products Axens will supply.
The SHU effluent is mixed with the HDS recycle gas and the mixture is preheated and completely vaporized in some exchangers,then pass through two stage HDS reactors and one heater between or behind them.The effluent from the Second HDS Reactor is cooled by exchanging heat, in mixed phase,is flashed in the HDS Hot Separator Drum.The liquid phase ,in hige temperature,  is sent directly to the Stabilizer Section.The gas phaseis further cooled down in an air cooler and then go through the other two separator drums,further stripping liquid phase.The vapor phase is further cooled down under Lean Amine temperature to avoid gas condensation and resultant foaming in the Amine Absorber.Liquid is sent back to the separator and vapor flows to the Amine Absorber KO Drum to remove any entrained liquid droplets.And then the vapor phase flows to the Amine Absorber,where H2S is substantially removed from the recycle gas.In the Amine Absorber,the recycle gas is contacted with MDEA lean amine solution.The sweet gas leaving the Amine Absorber is routed to the Recycle Gas Compressors KO Drum.Apart of the vapor leaving the Recycle Gas Compressors KO Drum is purged under flow control to the refinery Fuel Gas System,to maintain the hydrogen composition of the recycle gas (this stream is normally no flow).The remaining gas flow constituting the recycle gas is routed to the suction of the Recycle Gas Compressors.
 
All above is a simple discription for a kind of Prime-G+ process.In different project ,there are different operation condition and treat capacity and so some differences in details.
