The nitrogen oxide concentration and the absorption
efficiency of nitrogen oxide gas are reduced by the
leaking air.Although evacuating the nitrogen oxide gas
by vacuum facilities in nitrosation reaction provides a
temporary protection for the onsite workers,it actually
accelerates the decomposition of nitrous acid and
causes more pollution on atmospheric environment.
In this study,a “closed operation” is implemented
in nitrosation reaction in terms of the principle of
chemical equilibrium.The end of reaction is judged
directly by the change of system pressure to avoid
excessive feeding.A gas buffer space is used to reduce
feeding fluctuations,side reactions,and nitrogen oxide
gases.The consumption of raw materials is cut down
and zero discharge of nitrogen oxide gas is achieved
even when the absorption equipment for waste gas is
removed.
