Mr. Smith works in a big city, but Mrs. Smith teaches English in a small place. Litter Bill is their son. He lives with his mother.
One day, Mrs. Smith writes a letter to Mr. Smith. She says to Bill, “Bill, take the letter to the post office and post it to your father.”
After a very long time, Bill comes back home. Mrs. Smith asks his, “Why do you come back so late? Do you play basketball with your friends? ”
“No, Mum,” answers Bill, “I go to the post office in South Street.”
“Why do you go there? There is one near our house.”
“But the one in South Street is closer to Dad. He can get the letter earlier.”
